State Wants Bee Regulations, Not Local Ordinances

Florida may soon tell local governments that they can no longer place restrictions on beekeepers. Local ordinances have cropped up as the number of beekeepers has tripled, and industry experts say local ordinances are actually putting local residents at risk of dangerous bee stings.

Tributes to dad who was killed by bees

A dad was stung to death by a swarm of killer bees while on holiday in Africa. Mick Bryan, 61, and his wife, Jacky, 43, were staying at a remote campsite in Tanzania, East Africa, when they were attacked by the swarm.
